Image Cropper crops selected images in a browser workspace.

Data and storage

The workspace reads image bytes, filenames, dimensions and decoding metadata, then creates previews, crop coordinates and downloadable images or ZIP files. Removing an image releases its working image and object URL.

The imageCropperRatePrompt record in chrome.storage.local stores prompt times, dismissal and the selected feedback or review branch, not proof that a review was submitted. Chrome storage also keeps a random identifier for install counting.

Feedback and ratings

One to three stars opens the hosted rating page with the chosen stars and interface language; submissions send the rating, optional comment and language to the publisher. The goodbye survey opens on removal and accepts a reason. Four or five stars opens Chrome Web Store reviews when configured.

Analytics

Welcome, goodbye and rating pages count installs and removals by country through analytics. The welcome page opens once after the first installation and sends the install count through this site, which derives the country from the connection and stores nothing.

Retention and deletion

Closing the workspace ends the image session; downloaded files require separate deletion. The prompt record and install-count identifier remain until extension storage is removed; external pages handle submitted information under their own data practices.

Your rights

Data is not sold or transferred for unrelated purposes. Applicable rights include access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawing consent and complaints to a supervisory authority, without discrimination.

Children

Children have additional protections under applicable data-protection law.

Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
